Makata Tawanan comes from a long line of poets in Hagonoy, Bulacan.
And despite the difficulties and ridicules, he chose to pursue his
passion for performance poetry. Until he got his big break after
becoming a hall-of-famer and a grand finalist at last year's
Talentadong Pinoy, ultimately, bringing to the mainstream a dying
art-- comedic poetry.
