Turning Japanese - Day 02: Aeon & Twilight

Nagwala na si Bruce Banner. Nagbakbakan na sina Bruce Wayne at Joker. Na-in love na sina John Lloyd at Sarah sa isa't isa. Pero ito, ngayon pa lang na-post.

Ano pa ang nakapagtataka?

It was raining on the second day (and practically for the most part of my stay) of my vacation. Nothing much happened, really. Ate Tet and I just went to the "local" mall to buy stuff for me. Pretty much like SM. Except that it wasn't as paranoid, and there were no power-tripping sikyu.

Okay, fine, malinis, maganda, presko at sariwang hangin. Pero hindi mo pa rin mami-miss ang Pilipinas--dahil sa mga kawad ng kuryente na makikita kahit saan ibaling ang mata. Anubeh?! Hmm, baka naman dito talaga nakatira si Spiderman. Or, Supaideroman.

Fishball-tree. Very pretty.

Convenience stores were everywhere. Kung totoo ngang convenience store sila. Kasi minsan minsan nakikita ko ipinapasok nila dito 'yung batang makukulit. Tapos paglabas vetsin na.

Hmm, so kakanan ba ako o kakaliwa? Baka didiretso... I think ang ibig sabihin nu'ng isang sign eh dapat lumipad ako...

This was the first and one of the very few times I saw kids playing in the street. Although paglingon ko, wala na sila. [Twilight Zone music in the background.]

My sister's house was to my left when I took this photo. Never kong napuntahan at nakita kung ano ang meron beyond nung curve na 'to. Du'n ata 'yung dating house ni Sadako.

I was still on my first 24 hours. That should explain 'yung picture-picture here and picture-picture there. Anyway, alam na nating lahat na bike ang trip ng mga Japanese. Pero ang hindi natin alam, 1935 pa sila huling nagpa-update ng design ng bike. [Segue to History Channel SID.]

The sala in the background and the tatami room in the foreground. Pwedeng slide-slide 'yung mga walls para feeling Japanese talaga, ne?
